A short presentation I created on what I’ve learned about community building by singing as part of a choir. The importance of community and team work matters everywhere in life, and it is no less important in our work lives.

Collaboration is transactional and we must hold both self expression & listening to others to negotiate successfully
Singing is about self expression – our unique contribution manifests in many ways and is core to group work
Listening is key – we have to listen to others to sing or do anything as a group
This way we reap mutual benefit, the best reason for doing anything in the first place!
